This policy explains what personal information WebNCrafts collects, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
01Who we are
WebNCrafts (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a creative and digital studio operating the website webncrafts.com. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@webncrafts.com.
02What we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. When you fill in a contact form or project brief, or email us, we receive your name, email address, company, phone number if you provide it, and whatever you tell us about your project and budget.
- Information from working together. If you become a client, we keep records of our agreement, invoices, project files, account access you share with us and our correspondence.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record basic technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location based on IP address, pages visited and how you arrived at the site.
03How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes and proposals;
- deliver the services you’ve hired us for and manage your project;
- send invoices and keep financial records we’re legally required to keep;
- understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it;
- keep our website and systems secure.
We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be added, and every email we send includes a way to stop receiving them.
04Legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (answering your brief), performing a contract (delivering your project), complying with legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and our legitimate interests (running and securing our website). Where we rely on consent, such as for optional cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.
07How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t turn into a project are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and then for the period required by tax and accounting law, usually six to seven years. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.
08How we protect it
We use encrypted connections, strong unique passwords with two-factor authentication, and access limited to the people working on your project. Logins and credentials you share for a project are stored in a password manager, never in plain email, and are removed when the project ends.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email hello@webncrafts.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and we have your email address because you’re a client, we’ll tell you directly.
